Absolutely amazing quality. They feel great in hand, and are super grippy while not being rough holding the knife any way. Slightly thicker at the midpoint where you palm would naturally fall and you can get a better purchase on the handle. No hot spots so far. Fits in the stock sheath, slightly less retention, but mine came super tight so its an improvement. Comes with the appropriate hardware.
Those handles transformed the Ursus Cub into an excellent knife
These are close to being excellent, but they don’t line up exactly seemlessly around edge of tang. The scales protrude maybe 1/2mm beyond metal along spine side. Not functional problem, but it is off that tiny bit. The extra thickness, look, and texture are all top notch. Have 4 sets of Carroll scales now, and very pleased overall.
You might try loosening the screws slightly to see if you can shift the scales into better alignment with the tang. Once everything is lined up, retighten the screws and see if that takes care of it. Sometimes they just need a little adjustment. I haven’t had many reports of this issue with those particular handles, but slight variations in the knife itself can sometimes affect the fit.

Great scales. Knife feels absolutely different with them, more comfortable in the hands. On arrival g10 feels too rough, so I take sand paper and under running water removes the roughness.
