These scale are the best, they allow me to customize the scales that I did not wish to buy but could manage by customization. Great Job Carol Custom Scales!!!
My WRN Ursus cub felt good in hand but thought it could be better. With larger hands the original grip was a little small (exposed lanyard hole) and too smooth for my liking if putting it to work. Carroll’s scales fix the problem of the grip feeling too small or short and add a TON of texture to grip on to. If I covered the knife in diesel oil it wouldn’t slip out of my hand. Palm swell is better and more pronounced and feels fantastic in my hand. Scales fit perfect. Milling is a little uneven in some places but has no negative affect on function and would only be a problem if you were a perfectionist planning on wall mounting this knife but I plan on using it and it will function perfectly. Scales feel like they add just a little weight over the original but knife still has good balance. Overall looks great and feels great. I’m not a 5 star guy so 4 for me is pretty close to perfect. If you want locked in your hand knife scales that are very comfortable, look no further.
