White River Knives Ursus Cub Heavy Canvas Handles

I received my scales on time, and they were a perfect fit for my White River Ursus Cub. The ordering process was smooth, and I really enjoyed interacting with Lucas over WhatsApp—he was responsive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service throughout.

I decided to sand down the ridges on the scales after discovering that I prefer the smoother feel of micarta. The process was easy, and I was impressed that the scales remained perfectly flush with the tang of the knife afterward. I really appreciated that this had clearly been factored into the design and dimensions of the scales.

Another pleasant surprise was the inclusion of high-quality black hardware with the scales. The screws are 3/32” Allen, which can be a little challenging to match in Europe since the common metric sizes are 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 mm rather than 2.38 mm. Fortunately, I managed without any issues.

Overall, Carroll Scales delivered an outstanding product backed by equally outstanding service. Excellent craftsmanship, thoughtful design, great communication, and very good value for money. Highly recommended!
