Great contouring and better grip than the stock especially for wearing gloves on you hands. Perfect fit as well.

Anonymous My WRN Ursus cub felt good in hand but thought it could be better. With larger hands the original grip was a little small (exposed lanyard hole) and too smooth for my liking if putting it to work. Carroll’s scales fix the problem of the grip feeling too small or short and add a TON of texture to grip on to. If I covered the knife in diesel oil it wouldn’t slip out of my hand. Palm swell is better and more pronounced and feels fantastic in my hand. Scales fit perfect. Milling is a little uneven in some places but has no negative affect on function and would only be a problem if you were a perfectionist planning on wall mounting this knife but I plan on using it and it will function perfectly. Scales feel like they add just a little weight over the original but knife still has good balance. Overall looks great and feels great. I’m not a 5 star guy so 4 for me is pretty close to perfect. If you want locked in your hand knife scales that are very comfortable, look no further.

Scott Edgerton Great scales totally changed the feel of the knife.
The palm swell is larger than the stock grips. Also, the new scales enclose the end of the handle where the exposed metal is for the lanyard hole. I have large hands so this makes a big difference for me. Would highly recommend!
